The YES! mustard powder is a classic, versatile product made from finely ground mustard seeds. It is ideal for making fresh mustard, for refining marinades, sauces, dressings and for meat, fish and vegetable dishes.By mixing it with water or vinegar, the spiciness can be individually adjusted - from mild to strong and spicy. Mustard powder is also a tried and tested household remedy that is traditionally used for warming applications such as mustard baths or compresses.

Recommendations for preparation (degree of spiciness as desired):
- Mild mustard variant:
Mix the mustard powder with warm water (approx. 40-50 °C) until a smooth paste is formed.
Leave to infuse for 10-15 minutes, then add salt, sugar or honey to taste.
→ Mild, balanced flavor without strong spiciness. - Medium hot variant:
Mix mustard powder with water at room temperature.
Leave to swell for 15-20 minutes, then season.
→ Classic mustard spiciness, ideal with meat, sausages and sauces. - Spicy variation:
Mix mustard powder with cold water.
Leave to infuse for 20-30 minutes, do not heat.
→ Intense, strong spiciness with a pronounced mustard aroma.
