Asian pot Kazan (without lid) made of high-quality cast iron with non-stick coating

The Asia - Kazan made of cast iron has a non-stick coating that cannot be damaged, but only gets better with age. This is due to the structure of the cast iron. It can absorb fats and develop a high-quality non-stick coating when exposed to high temperatures. The reliability of the kazan has a long service life. Cast iron is not an immediate eye-catcher, but the non-stick coating stands out all the more and leaves no room for doubt. The lid must be purchased separately.

Instructions for first use:
  • Cast ironkazan without coating is intended for the preparation of roasted and braised dishes
  • Before use, the dishes should be cleaned with hot water without detergent. Heat the cookware to 100 °С and cover the inner surface with a thin layer of vegetable oil
  • Cookware without forward processing (burning with vegetable oil) is suitable for preparing food without citric, acetic or lactic acid
  • Cast iron cookware is not suitable for storing food
  • After preparation, the dishes should be cleaned with salt and a steel sponge but without detergent, dried and covered with a thin layer of vegetable oil
  • Cast iron dishes must not be cleaned in the dishwasher

If used incorrectly, dishes without a coating can rust. The corrosion is easily cleaned with a steel sponge. After repeating the procedure in point 2, the dishes will regain their original shape.


Advantages of cast iron:

  • suitable for cooking on an open fire
  • due to the high heat retention of cast iron, the kazan stays hot for a long time and keeps the food warm when serving
  • the heat conductivity and even heat distribution (base/walls) ensures gentle frying and an all-round even frying result. You can taste it!
  • Cast iron is extremely energy-saving: food can be cooked at low heat with low energy consumption
  • Despite other opinions, cast iron is easy to clean and maintain. The more you use it, the better the frying results!
Caution: Corrosion on cast iron cookware is not a defect, but the result of incorrect use!
